The influence that art has on our society goes unnoticed by numerous individuals. Many will view advertisements and commercials every day without paying attention to the efforts that the artists create. They see entertainment and attraction, rather than hard work. Individuals perceive most artists as poor, jobless, and starving. However, artists contribute to the nation as much as any other individual. Artwork that is created can become part of museums, stores, and any other area that involves advertising. More specifically, elementary school districts fail to see the significance of art programs in schools.
The combination of general education and art can improve test scores, memory, and an understanding of the world. Countless individuals are also unaware of art’s influence on physical and mental health. Very few people consider sculpting or drawing to be medicine. Children with mental disorders have received relief and treatment from art therapy classes. It can help them discover feelings, reduce anxiety, and resolve problems in the making of art. In addition, several sick children have felt a sense of health when placed in an artistic environment. Too many individuals overlook the intense efforts and healing that artists make to improve the population. Although very few people are born with artistic talent, they are still able to participate in this form of expression and it allows the individuals to develop into comprehensive beings. Even psychological specialists use art as a therapeutic device. Keeping art in our community is an essential contribution to student development, physical well-being, and psychological health.
